Tai Scott is an emerging director based in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia. Growing up in Central Queensland, Tai's films often draw inspiration from his upbringing, including the setting of his debut short film, Spit of You. He completed his Bachelor of Film at Griffith Film School in 2023 as a recipient of the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship and member of the Student Academy of Excellence. It is here that he developed his voice as an emerging Vietnamese-Australian filmmaker and spent time in the camera departments of several local films. More recently, Tai has been working with clients such as 4WD Supacentre and Forest Super Foods, offering creative services from photography, end-to-end videography, music composition, Lx/AC work and beyond.
